Summer Assistant Coach – June, July & August

The Norwin Aqua Club is currently reviewing candidates for an open Summer Assistant Coach position. Candidate should have prior swimming experience (Aqua Club, High School, or College, etc…) No prior coaching experience necessary, but experienced candidates will be given priority. Candidates should be able to demonstrate proper knowledge of all stroke mechanics, and be able to demonstrate said techniques as well as verbally describe them. Candidates would be under the guidance and supervision of the Head Coach and senior Assistant Coaches.  Assistant Coaches are asked for input to practices and swim meet line-ups.  Candidates should also possess a valid Drivers License, and be willing to submit to Act 33/34 clearance. Candidate must have CPR & Lifeguard certification.  Practice times are mornings, Monday through Friday.  Norwin Aqua Club participates in the Chestnut Ridge league with 1 to 2 meets per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings June -July.
